ProBlue Vulcan keystroke to extend Under Temperature detection time from 15 to 30 minutes
If your Problue melter is displaying 2 F2 faults (Manifold Under temperature) only when heated from a cold start and after clearing the fault, the unit reaches setpoint, it most likely is the result of a low-line voltage condition. The ProBlue default software checks the manifold temperature 15 minutes after the heaters button is active. If the line voltage is low, the manifold may not reach the expected temperature within the 15 minute time frame. The sample time can be extended to 30 minutes using the following Vulcan keystroke.
1) Press and hold the heaters and pump buttons together while tuning the ProBlue melter on.
Once this feature is active the sample time can be changed back to 15 minutes by repeating the Vulcan keystroke. If the melter software is version 2.020 or later there is a visual indication this feature is active. During the power-up sequence, the code Lo17O will be displayed indicting that the Under Temperature time is extended to 30 minutes.
